    full restoration

I have a rusted out 4 door 89 325i just wondering what sort of costs i might run into if i were to get just the shell (unibody , no trunk, hood etc)of a 2 door 86 and swap everything from my car to the shell. i am thinking at least this way I will be starting with a solid foundation.
    cheers

Too much too list... Your better off with a non-rusted one to begin with!

    Simplicity is your best option!

Having it done or providing the labor yourself?

            No rust or little FTW.

Little being the battery tray in rear and a valance or just one rocker panel, or so. Not much more. Any rust in the unibody or suspension... pass it by.

Why do you want an 86? Get an 88 or 89.
