    Can't believe it's a Toyota
    • 4.8-liter 72-degree V10 putting out 560 hp at 8,700 RPM (that's 116.5 hp/liter) and 354 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,800 RPM
    • Redline: 9,000 RPM
    • Titanium valves, connecting rods, forged aluminum pistons, dry sump lubrication and a titanium exhaust manifold
    • Six-speed sequential gearbox
    • Torsen limited slip differential
    • 3,263 pounds with a 48/52 front-to-rear weight distribution
    • Power-to-weight ratio of 5.8 pounds/hp
    • 65 percent of the body is carbon fiber
    • 20-inch BBS wheels wrapped in 265/35 ZR20 Bridgestone tires in front and 305/30 ZR20 in the rear.
    • 0-62 MPH (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds
    • Top speed of 201.94 MPH
    • Production limited to 500 units

pricing said to be around $300,000. This was supposed to be the new supra.

Looks pretty awesome. Going after the GTR perhaps? It does look a bit like a 350/370Z

Nice to see Toyota is capable of making something decent.

I mean after all the crappy FJ cruisers with faulty frames, Tundra's with constant issue's and the constant attention to F'ing up our roads with camry's and priuses...its nice to see they can take ALL that energy and make something cool...that is NOT a camry...or a prius...

why do you suppose it had to be marketed as a lexus? is that because its primarily going to be sold here? wonder why they didnt bring back the supra name.

          beautiful car none the less

Toyota has made cool cars before - don't forget the Celica All Trac and MR2

Also the more important thing is how it sounds. Holy fuck.

I'm not a Toyexus fan, but that car looks and sounds incredible.

Sadly, I couldn't help but think this is what the current M6 should have been.

Because you can't ask 300k for a car and brand it with a Toyota badge. Seriously.;)

Sick looking car though, sounds fantastic. I wish they could make something reasonable though.

I drive and gizmo's galore. Yet Honda killed off their real sports car S2000. They should have made that a coupe. Simple electronics and great engine less do dads.

I don't like it nor the GTR with warranty voiding launch control crap.

I think it's intriguing. I'm not a fan or the rear quarter window, but the rest is sick!

I wonder how much editing they did to the sound of the motor?

I think it is ugly. Looks like a mash up of a 300zx, a gt-r and an R8. Sounds great and the gauge cluster is cool but way ugly

Funny there are no real Poster Cool cars these days. When I was younger everyone had the Lambo LP500 poster and GTO288 poster or a 959. But these days supercars all seem water down as everyone is making them and they all tend to look the same.

                              Blah.
