Looks and sounds great. Nice to see Toyota taking their first step back into the performance world. Can't wait to see the finished product of the FT-86.

Because Toyota couldn't stain it's super green, eco-friendly, nature loving name with the likes of a dirty "performance" car. That's why they ruined and eventually binned every decent sports car they have ever made.

Car looks sick, specs are good. 300k? That is ferarri territory. I would much rather have a ford gt or audi r8 for much less money.

you dont think people have figured out that lexus doesnt exist in japan and its a marketing ploy. i mean the people that are going to drop 300k on this car i would think know better.

Interesting price point. Looks awesome. Good execution if you ask me.

I dunno, part of me just can't get over the original NSX though.

They should have called it a Supra, other than that (and the price) I think it is great, and refreshing that Toyota is getting back into the performance game.

The concept for this car have been shown in one form or another in car shows for what seems like forever w/o production announcement. It'll be interesting to see how it will really compete with the GT-R when it finally comes out. GT-R already beats it in price by a lot I believe so...

I love Toyotas as they've always made excellent cars IMHO. My first new car in high school was a Celica GT with that great 22-R engine which I drove for almost 300K in 7 yrs that I've had it with just regular maintenance only. This is why we currently have two, Sienna & Camry. However, none of the Toyotas I've owned gave me the driving excitment like my current e30, for now :)

It looks like a weird mix of an R8, F430 and 300ZX. I really like it though! I'm glad they're finally gonna make it a production car!

I usually hate Lexus, but this car is very cool. I absolutely love the styling and sound.
