Very nice looking car. I hear a lot of guys on here talking about picking up clean E30's for $2K, but ALL the ones I ever see are asking $3-4K and THRASHED or $2K with 250K on them. Most of the cheaper swapped cars are pretty rough too, so don't play the blame game about your purchase. Enjoy your car - this forum can answer any question you have.

Do not install your avatar on the car.
Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

I'm going to enjoy it for sure, but the money is still pretty important, being in college... I've just been saving for one for a good while :D Could have allocated it better, but I'm happy, just gotta eat some ramen for a while to make up for it.
Will probably get lower eventually once things are settled, though I do plan to keep the car looking otherwise stock. Well... maybe a plastic bumper swap...

Well.. congrats and all for sure. It DOES look clean, but let me give you some perspective. I have bought 5 e30s in the last 2 years.
87 3265iS pretty beat but pulls hard. Billy HDs/ driveshaft/ 7/10 interior/ 5/10 exterior, but no accidents, some hail damage. 1750.00
90 325i respray in Calypso, not a great job but clean from 10 ft. HR/ Billy sports/ TB and WP by PO/ interior 8.5/10 exterior 9/10. 1900.00
88 seta 150k miles Carfaxed, AW with 8/10 exterior, 9/10 black interior. 2100.00 sold for 3500.00 2 mo. later.
85 eta high miles, Schwarz in 8/10 exterior, interior, tan 7/10. overheated, no warp or HG problem. Replaced WP TB and hoses. Paid 1200.00 sold 3 weeks later, 2750.00
90 318iS Clean, near perfect but with high miles. Stored for 7 years, have receipt for storage. NO SUNROOF. MT 5, CAI, headers ( not sure what brand), Texas car, no rust, no wrecks. Exterior 9.5/10 interior with new Courbeau seats, perfect rear cloth seats. iS rear lip and front air dam (the one with four slits horizontal). SSK, drilled rotors and BBS 15 x 7 on new Kumhos. Paid 3100.00 sold for 6500.00 a week later to my partner.
So..... 5900.00 ? I guess if its as clean as it looks, it would be worth it - MINUS the fact it was crashed. I wouldnt have paid that, nope, but then IM a cheapass...as you can see.
Good luck with it and happy motoring.sigpic 1987 325is
