The Bilstein sports are shorter than stock (in fact IIRC the valving is the same between the HD and sports, but sports are shorter), and I recall hearing they were about 3" shorter, but that's hearsay (and honestly, I'm not quite sure how they'd pull that off). I've had Sports but they never went on the car and I never had a stock strut to compare side-by-side, so I can't say for sure.paint sucks

I guess I'm trying to get an idea on my coilovers on the S52 car, I had 215/40/17s with just a one finger gap and slight tuck in the rear and I never had any problems with scraping or anything. I just wish I had an idea of what that height translates to on springs.
