    Euro trim.. Should I?

Well, I'm debating whether I should get a euro bumper trim with the side markers deleted. Would anyone suggest otherwise? I'm a bit hesitant because I know the side markers there for safety reasons... just in case some careless driver nails your car at night or something. Please note I drive a schwarz black coupe.

I don't see how we can help with your decision?

You have a valid point for NOT getting it... so it sounds like you've made up your mind.

I can give you a suggestion since you are worried about it. Add sidemarkers to your fenders and then you can get euro trim and not worry about being invisible from the side at night. Only help I can think of. ;)

haha point taken. I just want to see how everyone else feels about it. Certainly they are available for us to buy but I have yet to see a lot of members jump on it. I just want to see their opinion about it.

Do it! Having a car ram into me for not having them is the least of my worries. In evening/night time driver when that could happen you'd have headlights on right?

          So do it! :)

of course you should! It makes it look SO much cleaner...

            to

I shaved the markers instead of buying the euro trim and it came out great.

definitely. that little light isn't gonna make someone see you any better than if you dont have them especially if you have your headlights on

                LOL at bimmerboy...

I'd go for it, I added e39 sidemarkers though just for personal piece of mind. I don't trust other drivers when it comes to my baby.

the OE sidemarkers aren't going to do you any good. If somebody hits you because they didn't see your car, they weren't going to see it regardles.

Well, Ive been stock on both of my cars but change was needed. For the coupe I went with the smoked sides so they blended into the trim. It was a cheap fix and looked great since I didnt want to ponny up the extra cash for the real deal . But for the cabrio, I went all the way with no regrets. The light output is minimal no matter what.

I think here in NC (and prolly other states) if one of your corner bulbs were burnt out for inspection, it wouldn't pass. Removing them totally (euro trim), they would most likely not even notice that it is suppose to be there.

                          Refer to this too: http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=82567

The look is perfect with the euro trim!!! :)

Did it on the e34 (e30 has euro bumpers so no side lights at all) and it really does clean it up

I say do it as well, those side marker lights are really useless overall.
