Yo doc, on that tail light issue:
Pull your left trunk liner panel. Just in front of your antenna motor are 2 screws holding a black box or two. The smaller of the two boxes is your "Check Panel Diode Pack" which likely needs the contacts cleaned as well as all of the bulb bases and contacts.
You will read some bullshit somewhere about the "bases are different between silver adn brass" which everyone should know is complete bullshit.
