The Holden Commodore SS was sold in North America as a Pontiac G8 in 2008 and 2009. Since the VXR8 Bathurst and HSV W427 are basically just modified Commodore's, there's no reason why you couldn't build one yourself.

With the death of Pontiac, it's inevitable that the prices of G8 sedans will drop precipitously. Shouldn't cost too much to make your own hot Commodore clone.
