So i was driving with my windows down and when i went to park and roll them up, nothing. The right window has worked fine until this happened, the left window was slow to rise. A few days before it failed, it stopped working, but i was able to push the up switch and pull the window up. It worked fine for a few more days and now its stuck and has been for a couple days. What can I possibly do other than plastic bags, where would the fuse be?

You can roll them up manually, remove the 'circle" cover where manual crank window handle would be and you'll see.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

I just went out to my car and I am not seeing any circles, or anything that could be popped off. The car is a 1988 325is, I've tried searching for the solution on the forum and cannot find. I really need to know how to manually crank the windows up, thanks!Gutted, welded, daily driver 88' 325isComment

Some e30's don't have that. I forget which ones though.Byron

my 88 325is has the pop outs for the emergency window crank, which is in your toolbox, assuming you have it. I think they stopped doing that in the 89+ models. personally i like it. if my battery dies or the window motors go out i can roll the windows up no matter what.
