Power windows stuck down in Florida with a hurricane approaching, help!

So i was driving with my windows down and when i went to park and roll them up, nothing. The right window has worked fine until this happened, the left window was slow to rise. A few days before it failed, it stopped working, but i was able to push the up switch and pull the window up. It worked fine for a few more days and now its stuck and has been for a couple days. What can I possibly do other than plastic bags, where would the fuse be?

Pull out all your interior and replace when storm passes.

You can roll them up manually, remove the 'circle" cover where manual crank window handle would be and you'll see.

have you tried switching the buttons? If you find out you need a new motor/regulator and you have an early model E30, PM me.

I just went out to my car and I am not seeing any circles, or anything that could be popped off. The car is a 1988 325is, I've tried searching for the solution on the forum and cannot find. I really need to know how to manually crank the windows up, thanks!

Make sure the circuit breaker button is pressed down.

There should be like a plastic circle tab on the door panels. Pop that out and stick in the right allen key and turn it.

Some e30's don't have that. I forget which ones though.

I've got the little circular tabs, '87 325i 4 door. I was under the impression that late models didn't have em, but I guess I'm wrong too.

my 88 325is has the pop outs for the emergency window crank, which is in your toolbox, assuming you have it. I think they stopped doing that in the 89+ models. personally i like it. if my battery dies or the window motors go out i can roll the windows up no matter what.
