ok she was never gonna win any shows but its taken many hours on a budget so tight you wouldn't beleive and now i gotta start again like i say just hope the engine is ok cost £900(approx$1600) i don't got that kind of money to replace it again

Update on engine

:-D got a mate to put a sump on for me today fresh oil and general check over ,,,and fired her up :mrgreen: she's still all good
found a rolling shell for £500 and given the details to the friend who "dented" the car so he can get his wallet out and go and get it .

update

at last found a real good shell with no sunroof ,,, being picked up at weekend and will get the old girl done and back out on the stage rally tracks again asap will post up pics as and when i get down to workshop to work on her

the merc looks ok from what you can see ,,but it has a blown engine and the rear end is smashed to hell rear number plate is where the rear window should be

i was wrong about the area its not boston its michegan sorry
but hey its here now had to buy it over there as could not find a quickener here and with all the bits + shipping etc it is a hell of a lot cheaper than getting and modifiying a quickrack
this does take a bit of time to fit properly but hell its worth it i used to get blisters with amount of steering on a rally now its the dogs danglies


how many are going to get one?????
