    Pimp My Ride

    Hi guys

I use to watch "pimp my ride" on MTV.

What to do you about this broadcast?

What means "pimp my ride" ? to make the car looks like a PIMP's car ? :?:

ps: hope i'll never see a bimmer ...

The purpose of the show is to take some broke-ass car and make it a broke-ass car with shiny paint, chrome wheels, and over the top sound equipment. The engine is rearly attended to, along with the suspension being overlooked nearly everytime.
I find the show entertaining, but I don't know that I would let them rice out my E28 let alone my M3...

They turned a bucket Escort into a "euro luxury " car with an "m3" front end and skirts and Merc tail lights or something gay like that.

I saw a link to the Nissan forums where the guy who had the "Need for Speed Underground 2" 250sx is a member at.

He said MTV messed up his front bumper on purpose and removed the passanger side racing seat to make his car look worse, so what you see on the show isn't always what it really was.

He thinks his car is rice (good man) and he asked for all the parts from his old car back. He even wanted to put his old carbon fiber hood on because it is "rare" or something .

Two of the cars that were on that show were already sold on eBay. The VW Beetle and the old Landcruiser thing. Might have been more but those are the only ones i've seen.

They actually lift the hood - and Foose made muscle cars are awesome.

Sounds like the girl that had the old SUV that came in with like Corbeau reclining race seats or something; they threw them away and put some stock seats back in recovered in like sparkly red vinyl.

When i see some of them mods, i wonder if people can use they car after that.

Sometimes, i find the guys of west coast works liek "pigs" (as we use 2 say in france). I was afraid the time they cut the rusted floor of the old mustang and JUST put a steal plate with rivets. There is no sense workin this way.

I agree that the cars are horrible, but I like watching the show. It's entertaining.

I sure as hell wouldn't let those fuckers touch my car.

A clean, lowered e30 in their hands would turn out to be a body-kitted ///M-wannabe on 20s with a lift kit with an eta motor inside. GHEY.

I hope they stick to Japanese and American cars and don't touch anthing Eur0.
