i dunno where you can get them new, unless it's a replica.

E28 mtechs go for anywhere from $100-180 in condition
E30 mtechs go from $150-300+ depending on condition

I got my E30 one for $160 shipped, but I was lucky as fuck, and they're usually priced a lot higher.

I thought the MtechI was compatible with both E28s and E30s?
        So there are two kinds?

        Uh oh

The e28 is wider and has ribs.

So what would this be then? I'm assuming E28.
Perfectly compatible with an E30, correct?

It will work on an e30 but will overhang onto the 1/4s and new holes will have to be drilled for it to mount.

wait, I thought you just needed to shave off the outer two bolts and the rest fit the standard e30 mounting holes....

either way i am not sure that an e28 would be any cheaper so you might has well go with the correct piece. I got mine shipped from germany 2 years ago for 175. you just have to keep an eye out for them...

If you mount the e28 using the e30 holes the spoiler will sit too far back. Some people cut the outer studs off and other drill the hols for them. If i was to do it to another e30. I'd drill the outer ones also. Cause the one on my first e30 had a small gap on the ends cause it wasn't all the way down onto the trunk lid cause i cut those studs off.

Some prefer e28 spoiler over e30 spoiler. I had the e28 one and liked it very much.

I have an e28 one and i drilled new holes. it looks good enough. the e30 one is NLA, the lumbras bought the last ones the dealer could source a few years back. $300 a piece but i bet many people would buy them at that cost now!
