Yeah, Its an 8 or 9/90 build date I think. Just before the cutoff. I was kinda bummed, but I may be doing a euro bumper conversion to make it look better. IMO the diving boards look a lot better with painted trim... Makes them a little less extreme or something. Nonetheless they aren't anywhere near as classy as plastics or euros.
sweet. Thats the best way to get a hardtop...find a car for sale that already has one. Chances are the owner won't give a second thought about the value of the hardtop itself.

Definitely a good pickup. I'm not sure if I want a vert or a coupe as the next E30, but one or the other...
I think it depends on where you are. In Cali, one could live with an E30 vert all year round. Great weather and not much rain/snow helps. I don't even see a need for a vert with hardtop in CA but it's nice to have. If I only had 1 E30, it would be a sedan though. Simply because the verts are noisier, heavier and vulnerable (cloth top/rear window).
