PnP prices suck. They wanted $28 for a stupid volvo lip and the price list said 10. 50 For a decent dash isnt too bad though

Ya, theyll try to get you on prices. Front valence is supposed to be 10 bucks. A PnP in fairfield was charging 35!!!!! Thats crazy. Considering they get those cars near free. A friend of mine let PnP pick her car up, 01 Taurus, and they gave her a whopping 61 bucks.
Lets go hunting one day CJ!Comment

Removing the A pillar cover is the trick, I also leave on the door seal to cushion the left side so as not to damage it when you slide it out towards the right side. $50 is a okay price since these cars are getting harder to find.Comment

Is the yard in wilmington a good place to go hunting?
I've also heard that there is a yard in ontario (off the 60 on miliken?) that constantly has e30s
anyone have any info?
I want to go looking for some misc. parts but I really don't know where to go.sigpicComment

If it's small enough to hide it's free. If it's bigger then lie about what it goes to. Keeps money in my pocket. $42 for front rx7 calipers last time I went.Jah bless! :pimp:Comment

Yup. Thats how I converted my mercedes from Kjet to megasquirt. Injectors, pig tails, relays, sensors etc. They would have charged me a fortune for all that crap. Wear baggy clothes.

The cheapest price I have found after looking around for a new dash is $1021. There were still several hundred or so available in Germany and a half a dozen in the States. I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a new dash in my iS because I don't want to put another twenty year old dash in my car that is just going to crack in a few months like the used one I put in did. The Texas sun is just too hard on the used dashes. I would rather spend the money and do it once. Conversely when the new dash goes in the car will stay in the garage.sigpicComment
