              DAAAAAM!!!! Glad you are OK!!
Black Ice did this almost one year ago today, I was in 4WD at the time it didn't do shit.
Fucking airbags broke both my wifes hands when she went to brace herself.

The car did its job though and you walked away. You were alive to make that post in our forums is all that matters.

Best of luck on your next E30!

That was a very nice car and it's very sad to see that happen. A reminder that there's a risk everytime you step into any car.

Did you get hit in the rear too or slide into something? The buckling on the passenger side is pretty intense. Glad you're ok.

Heh, lennon, those euro bumpers look pretty done for..

Both of you guys good to see that you are safe and ok.

guy below 4wd dose nothing but help you go, dose not help stop and very little to turn. If you cant get around in 2wd you really should not be out there. I hate all these people that use 4x4 as a crutch and cant drive. I live where we get 200 inches of snow and not plowed and use 4x4 maybe 2 times a winter.

I am happy you are ok. I almost lost my 5 series on black ice. Also was in the car when my friend lost controle of his audi on black ice. How much are you selling your euro bumpers for?

                          snow tires?

I always wonder how the local guys in rice mobiles get around here during the winter on bald performance summer tires. we don't get a lot of snow, but we do have ice.

Not sure what OZ's they are. They do look like they survived though.

I was probably goin 45-50, and the other driver was doin 25-30.

I really hadnt lost much speed before I hit the Ice.

As far as snow tires go, I just switched them out about 4 days earlier, for the photoshoot I did. I dought they would have helped much.

The insurance guy will be here tomorrow, after that I will start to salvage parts. So please hold off on asking till then.

I know how it feels, lost two cars to semi-similar situations. It gets cold in the PNW... Did your car not have a sunroof? Good luck with insurance, I hope you get a fair deal.
