                what does the subframe bushing mount to? just sheet metal? im hoping that part isnt torn up. guess ill just have to look.

                    I know what the problem was... It was that Euro plate under your actual plate. If it wasn't like that, this wouldn't have happend.

                      get some pictures of the underside, thats some serious damage.

                      My parents 83 533 had this happen. Had to weld in a 1/4" thick bracket to the subframe mount.

                        I've seen that happen on two customer e28's, like Joe said, there's some welding and reinforcement in your future.

                                There is a long stud that hangs down from the body, thats what it mounts to. Hopefully that didnt break or you're in all kinds of pain.
