I'm parting an E30. To date I'm up about $50. Whee I'm rich!

I still have a bunch of parts though, which is great because I'm doing a suspension overhaul on my car so spares come in handy when shit breaks (and I get to break shit without remorse cause I know I have spares :)).

Downsides? I parted the car (read: stripped and ditched the shell) back in August but still have a half garage full of crap. It needs to get gone but selling it all is a major time suck. Plan on haggling for every $5 part x5000 parts. I'm (no joke) starting to trash perfectly good parts because apparently they're worthless after trying to sell them for 6 months.

I'd only do it again if the parts I needed off the car would individually cost more than the car as a whole, or if the car was a screaming deal and I could net +/-$3k. Otherwise its not worth the time.
