recent snowboarding trip

Ya this year blows when it comes to snow on Mt Hood. 2 years ago at this exact time we had a 100+ inch base :(. Now its like 15in.... But hey im going up monday anyways... This is my first time going up this season which is sad cause I was on my highschool snowboard team and we went atleast 3-4 times a week for the last 2-3 years... So its a little weird not going yet.

seems to me it's like every other year it's good/bad snow, so next year be prepared for some nice snow again.

Heres a bit of a thread hijack, but since were on the snowboarding topic...

I just got back from my third time up ever and I'm freaking happy. Today I got riding toe-side and carving down, along with multiple jumps (air) and a few small 180's. FUN STUFF

u people really need to ski out west

Well put my man. I just got back from BrianHead Utah last weekend - they got 29" OVERNIGHT on top of the base they already had. Lee Canyon here in Las Vegas got 42" in two days and has been untouched all weekend except for myself and my roommates. They are closing the roads up there, 4x4 and chains regardless. We ended up having to hike it all the way up :roll:

On the down side, BrianHead managed to break my roomies leg in 4 places and shattered my 'lil brothers pelvis :shock:

Speak for youself man I've been up with some guys and girls who've been up at least 3+ times and they can still barely turn.

I just came back from snowboarding and oh man it's so weird seeing stumps and bushes still exposed. but the snow was soft and I was drunk so it was all good, bumped into some kool people and hit some nice tables. it was a fun and for sure sore night.

It gave me confidence to hit up my first rail of the season, I wasn't plastered but enough to relax myself
