yeah, i just ran into this problem. i have been emailing back and forth with the freaking aggressive rasmussen bmw representative and he says i need the original offer email to get the gas card. :(

maybe i'll go test drive the 135 anyway, though.

it says on the form it takes 8-10 weeks to fulfill their side of it, so i would assume they mail it to you.

For anyone that did this, did you get the $50 gift card in person, or is BMW mailing them to your address?

You are probably going to have to be at least 18, might vary depending on the dealership though. My local dealerships (not bmw) have done stuff like this before and you had to be 18 to drive the car without a guardian.

i tried to do something like this for a local mazda dealer, they wanted to run a credit check and wanted 800 deposite to drive an rx8. lol

I know for a fact that I have crappy credit and don't have $800 to test drive a car.

the local bmw dealer is owned by the same guy, so probably the same rules here. oh well...

Seriously, but once when Dodge was doing it, my friend had the card you mailed in, we were there getting something for his Neon and we jsut told the guy that we didn't wanna waste his time/beat up on a car and if he could stamp it for us, he did.

My newly engaged cousin's fiance is turning in the lease to his g35 in a few months. I have been trying to get him into looking at a 5 series so this is my perfect opportunity to get a first hand review and possibly sway him
