I can myth bust it for you right now: does Porsche use it in their factory racing program?

The only car i've ever even heard people talk about ground straps for is a MKIV 1.8t. According to them, and my brother it helps with the spark issue with stock coils at high boost (25lbs+) Other than that type of application, I call BS

my dad actually has one on his e30 and i can say that it certainly feels more responsive and all of the interior lights are brighter. I cant say anything about hp gains or anything but it certainly feels more lively.Originally posted by ebelementsAlso, for those who don't know, negative camber is the greatest thing since sliced bread(panera). Even tire wear is for city busses and the elderly.

well resistance will decrease with an increase in wire diameter and decrease with a decrease in wire length. so if the wire is shorter and fatter than stock it would decrease resistance and increase current. i can see that possibly helping with lighting, but the radio and amps all have their own ground. as for hp, you can get 15+hp from auto-zone spinners!sigpic

probably not. r3v would bash civics and other imports for at least a year and a half before rediscovering mod and using it...
there are serious electric supercharger systems out there, they just don't cost $10 and can only operate for a short period of time.Comment

Heres the thing. Yes, a larger diameter, shorter wire would flow more current, BUT, the stock cable will provide more then enough power for everything the car needs. More then likely, any gain you see (if there is ANY gain) is due to the fact that you are replacing an old dirty cable with a new clean one. Keep your cables clean and coated with dielectric grease to keep away corrosion and you will be golden.Comment

No dyno results...but a comparison of the electric superchargers. AND the ebay one.
