Neglected to stretch the headbolts, causing massive overheating and head gasket failure without even being driven 5 miles.

Thus, I get car for free. When is the last time you were jealous of an M20, huh?

        Forgot to add:

the wiring in the engine bay (and everywhere else). There are literally wires going from a ground, around the engine bay, and back to the exact same ground ??
I'm constantly finding random wires not plugged in anywhere.
Power antenna was unplugged for no real reason.

That looks like my head unit. I have driven the car for a year with no radio - maybe I don't really need one. Getting used to just listening to the engine sing.

The guy said that the brake fluid was a little low because he bled the brakes a little, at first I suspected a leak but I did not find any since it has been parked in his driveway. Later I inspected the lines and found they where not at the right place and there was some aftermarket "T" joint that was leaking and he put some kind of clay to hide the leak. After that I saw that the rear calipers where hard lined so it was a miracle that they did not break on the way home!

PO had put a fucking DOORBELL in the knee bolster. A doorbell!! It wasnt wired to anything, and I have no idea what it was used for, as I cant find any stray wires in the dash. I spraypainted it black to make it less noticeable.
Also, the AC radiator and fan had been removed, my fan clutch was also shot.
Rubbery glue to fix a tear in the intake boot.

not sure if the coolant was ever changed, but it was nice and green. It took about a half hour of flushing out the radiator with a hose before clear water came out.

Lets see, he used clear tape to wire in ebay halos, wired the brights into the halos
He used clear tape to wire in the stereo
He removed the Ac condenser (to save weight) but left the belt connected
He put ebay red(pink) and black tail lights on it
He managed to bust the oil pan and replaced it but failed to put in the oil sump pick up
He let the guibo go until it finally snapped and the driveshaft bounced around and snapped the output shaft on the transmission
The day i went to look at the car broken down on the side of the road he turned to stereo up to max and blew both rear speakers
He painted the stock BBS wheels black but didnt clean the brake dust off first. First wash almost all the paint came off
