Stupid things that PO's did to your car

Nope. As long as it isn't consuming oil, which I doubt it is. Run it. Worst case scenario at this point really is leaking after however many heat cycles since. Head might crack, but doubtful. Or more might chip off and you fuck up the head some more.
Heads already fucked, so anything after this is the same outcome. New head.

Dumb previous owner welded them on i guess the belt broke before and bent some valves.
They were too lazy to replace the head and did a temp/cheap fix.
I know its not smart to keep driving like this, will the other ones break soon as well?

Managed to get rust on the drop hat to form on the shock? so gotta replace the whole strut, then heated all 4 springs.. -_-
Also when I bought the car he had me waiting with no response for 5 hours, the only reason I hung around the area was because I drove about 2 hours to see this thing and I wasn't about to just go home without seeing an e30. ended up shooting his price down from 3,900 to 2,000 but first thoroughly insulted him with an offer of 1,000. Ended up being so pissed off with the deal because it didn't pass smog like he said it would. SO craigslist personals men for men mustve had a field day. Also so did 4chan. All i gotta say is fuck that guy.

My car had an allegedly "rebuilt" m42 in it, which at first seem fantastic. Now, though, I've discovered VR gaskets used, aftermarket parts that are constantly breaking (block coolant pipe and fuel pump did so rather catastrophically), three different brands of belts, power steering belt tensioner installed backwards, alternator belt tensioner destroyed...and it appears the head gasket was made with RTV sealer. May be doing this one over.

From this mess of bullshit wiring.
Back to the few factory plugs and relative neatness.

My former Euro spec 1970 E3 2800 was imported to So Cal in the early 70's before all the gray market rules came into effect so it still had speedo in KPH, no side markers or any federalization done to it. The PO of the 2800 removed the Euro 5.75 H4 with city lights and replaced them with sealed beams, go figure. The H1 high beams were still there when I bought the car in 2004. I took some searching but I found some H4 with Euro city lights for the E3.
G-Man

I second this. Most people don't realize it, but you can polish glass, just like everything else

Attempted their own wiring. Full fucking stop!
Ill post a pic tomorrow, but they cut circuits that didn't need to be cut, they bypassed the factory power window circuit for a shit alarm install, stripped wires then twisted them together and taped them over instead of soldering them, and instead of replacing the ignition switch, went to the trouble of wiring in a bypass button.
Ohh, they needed power for the alarm under the dash so they cut the wiring going to the fog light switch and used it for power (who needs fogs?), then when they needed power for the control unit for the power windows, they cut the wires for the factory cigarette lighter and used those. Didn't even bother to splice into them, just snipped the spade terminals clean off.
