Thanks! I appreciate it. Yeah I know about the bumpers.. I like them they are brand new+ everything else exterior except all sheet metal other than the new hood, fenders and front spoiler/valence. :roll: :)
I am thinking hard about an Mtech 2 kit or an Alpina 88+ front spoiler, "IS" sides, kamei 88 only rear valence, and an Alpina 88+ rear deck spoiler.
I'm leaning towards the Alpina combo idea more now...along with a good new wheel choice. The summer of 04' will be a good year regardless cos something big is happening..the looks/ interior will be completed and the korman turbo plan will go into effect. haha :twisted:

Check that.. I just got ACS side skirts. :) So the Plan officially is: late Alpina front / ACS sides / Kamei 88 only rear 8)
looks Like things are coming together. Good thing I got the mirrors. I like em and I think they will go good with the body kit when it's all done.
I still don't know which rear spoiler to go with (ACS, Alpina, M tech 2 :?: ) :?



On a side note::
Hopefully the exterior will be done by the spring so I can start looking for that S50 :twisted: I Highly doubt that I'll have the Aplina front (Almost $700) by the spring tho..but I'll shoot for it.
Somewhere in that mix the interior will be re-leatherized and new door panels will be added. New ones will be the perfect match for the new leather. Perhaps I can have the interior done while the engine operation is going on. We'll see.

The turbo idea..well I'd have to have it done in NC @ korman since I am getting their turbo and don't want to diy anything. I'm figuring both would cost around $6000-$7000(maybe a lil more) installed.

Either idea would be cool to have. But The turbo planwould be so expensive (Korman T is $5000) would have to include since my auto trans (has <6k miles on it ) because then I would be short on money.

I was about to say the same thing, but decided it was mean-spirited. I thought it was another good place to say the phrase, "The pot calls the kettle black." :D

Anyway, I wouldn't sweat not knowing how to drive stick. Mostly, I say that because until this summer I didn't know either. I rocked a torque converter :roll: for the first 6 years of being on the road.

I don't think a lot of e30 auto owners balk at the thought of switching from auto to manual because of a lack of enthusiasm to learn it. It's that changing an auto to a manual is a ho. It costs $$$$ and you have to crawl under your car a lot while it's supported by tallassed jackstands. I guess there are different ways to skin the installation cat, but whatever it is, it is labor and time intensive. Or you gotta pay $$ to get it installed.

:stupid: who gives a shit if jims car is auto...my silver e30 was auto...TJs car is auto, but its still a sweet crusier. an auto aint a fuken disability. who gives a shit if jimbo had help financing it....hes lucky to be in a position to do that, and no diggity, if my old man wanted to spot me cash to mod my car, id accept it gratefully. more power to ya jim! an it aint like jim brags about it and rubs it in ppls faces, like a lotta spoilt brats that i know.

anyways, jims car is evolving, just like all of ours, and it sounds like it will be tuff when its all done...we could sit all day and pick faults with evry1s ride.

Yeah my car is auto; the difference is I drive stick all the time and want to convert my car to manual, but I am poor. I learned how to drive on a manual and absolutely love it; Jim wants to put a turbo on an automatic car. I haven't done engine mods because I know they are frivolous on autos.

Yes, I also have cloth seats. I prefer cloth over leather - it holds you MUCH better, is cooler in the summer, and easier to take care of. Leather is just bling as far as I am concerned. I am also going to get sport seats one day when I have the money.
