Redstar can't be wrong, he learned everything he knows from me. You, on the other hand, think you can feel a worn timing belt...

No no. I said it's either broken or not there's no feeling a timing belt warring. So I guess we're all in agreement sorry if I wasn't clear.

the broken ones that are replaced make the most difference.
replacing a part that isnt broke isnt going to change any "feeling" in the car.

Tires. Doesn't matter what is holding them on the car, it all comes down to the four tiny patches of rubber holding the car to the ground.

and that's why every serious e30 racer brings spare set of tie-rods and control arms with them along with tires...

If you your tie-rods are worn, tires will be doing very little for you. Tires will actually wear out at an increasing rate, and car just won't handle like an e30 should.

Yes, but if you replace worn tie rods you'll feel a modicum of improvement whereas if you have worn, out of balance or cupped tires the driving feel can be improved greatly by replacing them with new ones. Yes, if your tie rods are worn you'll burn through the new tires just as fast but I'm talking about the initial sensation of tactile driving feel.

I thought getting cheapest tires was the way to go, that along with skinny tires on wide rims for euro stretch, no?

if we're talking about sensationalism of a changed part, then the most you'll feel will be with a sport seat and a smaller steering wheel. From sensational standpoint, some people may "feel" a difference with timing belt or oil change. Some people feel like racecar drivers with short shifter until they destroy every gear. When it comes to feelings, it's like ass-dyno.

It's much more than just feelings. You can have the best tires you can get, but if your outer tie-rods stretched, or inner tie-rod pops balljoint in its socket, then car will handle like shit. When front tires pull in opposite directions, there's no worse "feeling", especially with good grippy tires. Not to mention it becomes really hard to control e30 at high speeds, as there isn't enough weight or downforce to force tires straight. And as I was saying earlier, the most difference associated with tie-rods is the alignment. That's one thing you can REALLY feel.

If it's rubber and worn replace it where ever it is. The steering guibo on the colum is always over looked and can be replaced with a solid item. Top mount's both front and rear. diff bush, swing arm bushes....

I'm sick of your argumentative bullshit. Everything can be felt but the point is that tires make a huge difference.

the thing that makes the biggest difference is tires, if you have crap rubber you get no grip and all the suspension/horsepower in the world wont matter you wont preform well
