So a friend of mine has a 1979 rabbit it has 5k on rebuild zero rust just needs battery and new rear tire 250$ i can take it off his hands worth it? what should i look for with this car problem wise? I know very little about the rabbits let alone vw's thanks.

for 250 you can at least part it out, if it was me and it was clean hell yeah.
if you can bring a new battery and get it to start deff do it. -

Look under the carpets before any money changes hands. If the floor pans are rusted, they're about $80 each to replace, and they have to be cut out and welded in.Comment
