To add insult to injury I just filed my claim with Progressive only to realize that I have Collision and Liability insurance and not Comprehensive. Which astounds me, so I'm not covered. Thankfully I have semi-rich parents so they're gonna loan me some cash to get a new car, biggest issue is I now have to rebuild my entire tool collection. Not to mention the loss of my e36 switches, stereo, US Ellips and HIDs.
I'll have pics up in a few, the only recent ones are on my phone from the snow storm.
Thanks to everyone in the MD/DC/NoVa area, who knows maybe I'll get lucky and find it somewhere!!

The crappy part is my renters insurance won't cover the car since it was parked on the street. And the tools were in the car so they don't count either. I'm fucked 3 ways from Sunday right now. Parents are gonna give me some cash, looks like my dad wants to get me an e36 95 325i. Luckily it's the perfect donor for a swap later!!! So in a couple months when I have a lot more cash I'll be back in an e30!

Your HO/REnters will cover some of your personal property not meant to be used in a vehicle, ie, your HomeOwners policy won't cover car parts, but should cover the tools.
There may be extenuating circumstances where the car parts would be covered, like "intended for use, but still uninstalled" etc.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

that sucks dude. sad to hear it. at least it wasn't something really special like a swapped e30.
all that time your family had it, and now its gone.
i always figured you'd cut it up for scrap eventually, now you can't even do that.Originally posted by BillBraskyThat's like Vlad challenging Chip Foose to a car painting contest.Originally posted by acolella76i'm pretty sure 'Phillis' is short for syphilis
