THanks guys for all your comments! I couldn't be happier with the way the article turned out. It goes to show that you don't need a lot of $$$ to build a quick turbo e30.

Hey Matias, like Jay mentioned, I've done a LOT to it. I just finished painting it last weekend. You can see some pics here. http://rede30.blogspot.com/ I'm going to do a full photo shoot in the next few weeks.

Some of the retail bookstore are a little slow on updating the shelf's with the newest editions. And Jon thanks again for your help with the tuning although we haven't gotten it quite figured out yet the time and dedication was worth mentioning in our article.

Well done gentlemen--and ladies. I'm really digging the Luftwaffe paint scheme and t-shirts.

You guys inspired me to start my budget turbo build. Already got the volvo turbo and intercooler plumbing.

Oh, you guys have more than that in store for next season! You better not be thinking of giving up the boost ;)

I thought it was strange when Carlos asked me for my last name a few weeks ago, but that was a nice surprise.

Left a message about an idea in relation to the rev limiter, next time you guys are tinkering on it, gimme a call (been keeping the chip burner in the car now).

Sorry I missed the last 2 events :(

No we are still gonna stayt with boost what had happened with the article is that since this was the 2008 car and not the 2009 car they asked us what we had in mind for changes for the 2009 challenge, and there was a time we were thinking about a 24v swap then quickly realized that a widebody would be so much cooler. so think of this article without having the gray E30 in mind.

Thanks, guys for all the kind words. Einstein57, do it, for low boost it's a great setup. I want to piece together the same kit for my dd.
Like Jimmy mentioned, Nope, we're not giving up the boost anytime in the near future.

John, the sound you heard n the video was a combination of me hitting the limiter, and in the slalom sections, the engine cutting out on me. since then, we've traced the engine cutting out, due to there not being enough fuel in the tank! At the last event I ran with over 5 gallons in the car and had no issues, other than snapping the oneway valve for the brake booster. A short piece of hose fixed that for the rest of the event;) but I'll definitely give you a call next time we tinker...
