Weird Cooling Issue.

Wow, that is crazy. I think I am going to go ahead and replace the water pump, t-stat, and check/flush the heater core. Hopefully that fixes things.

Before you do that remove the thermostat and run it.I am having the same problem. Where is the expansion tank on our cars BTW?

if you cant find the expansion tank by looking in the engine bay, just quit.

Im thinking he has an 318? The tank is integral with the radiator.

No i have a 90 325i, I am verry experienced and still cant find it.
