I have a nice "caving" one, and it kicks ass for getting light right where you need it.

This. The one I have puts out ALOT of light and keeps me warm too.

haha been there done that. swap an alternator laying in slush in sub zero weather with a mag light. then you get to complain. heheh.

Was this on an e30? If so, why did you have to lay down?

Only reason I want a kid is to hold a flashlight for me.

They don't even do that well. Trust me on this. A magnetic hook stuck under the hood holds the light better.
