i noticed that Ferrari has a small looking hole in the rear, but what are they? i mean what is their function?

I cannot find a good picture of the back of the STR but they both hove the large vent in the middle of the engine cover.



Some other teams have a vent that is in the center of the engine cover, but the STR and RBR look the exact same.

Not entirely to do with the diffuser, but on the McLaren its the vent for the gearbox radiator, so I'd say that could also be what its for on the Red Bull and Torro Rosso

Don't see why this should be needed, just another thing to fail. Though I guess with pitstops being shorter than ever ever tenth of a second counts.

They've asked to miss the first 4 races, and it's becoming ever more doubtful they would even make Spain (I think that's the 5th race).

Charlie Whiting is in the US to go visit the facility this week and check on progress.

My personal guess is that we will not see USF1 race this year and possibly fold all together. I don't want that to happen, but rumors from the employees are, is that they were all lied to about having financing in place for the next three years when hired on.

Also been blaming Ken Anderson for not signing off on drawings/designs coming out and so those haven't gone into production, something that should have been happening back in DECEMBER.
