my mistake, i could not find last years points... oh well.

    On another note:
Rossi test with Ferrari at Catalunya put him within 2 tenths of Kimi's best 2008 time, in a 2008 spec car.

        On GP2 2009 tires correct?

"Rossi, driving a 2008 car fitted with GP2 tyres, was joined by Brazilian Felipe Massa, who arrived at the track for his test session tomorrow."

"The MotoGP champion set a time of 1m21.900s during a qualifying simulation late this afternoon. Although direct comparisons are impossible as Rossi was using a 2008 Ferrari chassis fitted with GP2 specification slick tyres, Jenson Button's pole time at the venue last year was a 1m20.527s, while Kimi Raikkonen took the top spot on the 2008 grid with a 1m21.813s."

Yes, its not totally 2008 specs but thats pretty damn good.

I wonder what happened to the 17 year old Italian kid that set a record a few years ago at Mugello.

Best grouping on the grid, Schumi should look out for these two.

                  clarification: old car, new colors
too much white for a rari
I don't think its completely the old car, the airbox above the driver's head is different, and there are no wheel fairings on the front (illegal this year).

true that. ferrari's are meant to be red. i don't know why they just are. not to say i am not a fan of when ferrari did a beige on the 1975 275 gtb4. and i love the f50 in silver but still no matter what ferrari is supposed to be red simple as that. they shouldn't even put sponsors logos on the car unless they too are red (black pinstriping could be ok) but still the car should be red. with one exception - the interior panels should have a green glue holding them together lol - the f40 in my neck of the woods has a green glue looking substance that appears to hold the interior together, nothing has fallen off the car so i suppose it works but it's still green lol.

                          Its official Lopez to USF1.

It amazes me how everytime Bernie says they will not make it to the grid about 2 days later USF1 makes a new announcment as to their progress.

ummm, wtf did I miss? A Q&A with Schumi and Nico Rosberg. Question is aimed at Michael.

Q: At your last race in Brazil 2006 you said that you were sorry for all the errors you made over the years. Is this return now somewhat of a demonstration that you can win in the right way, as some argued that despite the brilliant winner that you were, there were stains on your story?
MS: Yeah, I am sure 91 victories and seven titles you win only in a bad way, absolutely. You are right I need to prove (myself) now!

Q: It was the manner in which you won them, not what you won…
MS: Yes, I know, I did win all this in the manner that you are trying to ask questions. Let’s be sensible and think about the reality and look forward to what we all might face and learn and enjoy together. That’s what I am looking for!
