    Factory Wheel color codes

Anyone know where i can get the factory wheel color codes for BMW or Alpina and Racing Dynamics and whatnot? I have a set of RDs that i wanna restore to their factory color. Was it just any generic silver? Thanks for the help guys.

Check with Wurth or Einszett. They have the OE color but I always thought RD wheels were lighter or had more metallic flakes in them. Those brands do have different shades so you shold be able to find something you like.

question for anyone that has painted the BMW basketweaves, do you also spray paint the plastic center caps? If so, how does that turn out.

(if you have pics. please post them)

Please pardon my ignorance but is wurth some sort of paint company? Did some google searching and found mixed results.

That's U-Pol, their clear coat is the best. I'm actually not sure where Würth paint is originated.

Factory doesn't give out the paint codes for wheels as they are made by private companies. BBS's color code is most imitated and still is not exact copy out there yet. Close but no exact copy unless you send them back to BBS for refinish.

In my research for the paint code BBS for oem basketweaves, I keep coming up with this:

The closest match to BBS bright silver is Acura, Vogue silver, code NH583M.
