          Toyota's announced a halt to sales of all eight models involved in the sticky-accelerator-pedal-could-lead-to-fiery-death recall announced last week. The same ones they said last week would be just fine if sold new at dealerships. Details below.

                      Toyota is having a freak out session. They believe they are going under and need to completely rethink business in order to stay alive.

                      As to whether they are right, I have no idea.

                        They are getting the idea in their heads that sports cars are good again so if they do go that route it might save them.

                          Ummmmm....

                          I used to work with Toyota and I can tell you they're not going under. They're not doing as well as the Koreans or VAG, but they're certainly not down with GM & Chrysler.
