Worse. They look awesome on e34s but on e30s they just make the car look like it's out to journey across the old west, classic steam train style.Originally posted by der affe View Postthis ugly?

Lol. This is true if they aren't tucked in on the sides. Then you have a legitimate cow-catcher. But otherwise, a Volvo lip doesn't look any bigger than say a rieger infinity (flame defense +20 spell cast!)Originally posted by Fidhle007 View PostWorse. Some guys prefer Volvo lips cause 1 there cheap and 2 you dont have to be on your guard everytime you enter a drive way or go over a speed bump... If I had a 150 dollars to drop on a is lip id get one in a second, but for now a $20 Volvo lip will do just fine...Originally posted by Fidhle007 View PostWorse. It's not about big, it's about flow. Sure, if you get creative with a heat gun they're passable but a painted I lip looks better IMO and should be easy enough to find.Originally posted by Slangbox View PostLol. Attaching a $100+ piece of plactic with plastic clips to the most likely spot on your car to hit anything is the definition of asking for it. I have a Volvo lip attached with a hand full of zip ties on the back. It cost $6 plus a $3 rattle can. I run it into my concrete parking curb thing on a daily basis. It's been ripped off more than once. The damn thing is tough as nails and most importantly flexible. Oh and it looks better than the IS lip. If it was some kind of obscure BMW piece that cost $350 and you could only get from the dealer but looked exactly the same everyone would wish they had one. But no, it's a pos volvo part from the JY therefore every BMW fanboy has to hate it order to to keep his Ethug manhood.Last edited by tjts1; 02-01-2010, 12:25 AM.

No. You're only saying that to try and win this argument. Deep within your soul, you know that's a god damn lie.Originally posted by tjts1 View PostOh and it looks better than the IS lip.Last edited by george graves; 02-01-2010, 12:28 AM.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?

Wow, yah this thread took a dump quick. A quick runny dump all over those volvo lips!
I see where all you are coming from that say they look good, and dont care about how much they get munched because theyre so damn cheap. I agree. I also agree with the counter argument that it's a volvo part, and is not only not meant for our cars, but in order to have any sort of classy look on our "shitboxes" (luke, lol...), just spend a few minutes and work it into shape with a heat gun or something. It really does looks weird on the sides.
