But now there are 2 different types of 19lbs injectors to get.
If you plan on doing upgrades, or at the very least running with a chip it's all good with the 19s. I passed CA smog inspection running my stock intake (swapped it in for the test) the mark D 19lber chip, and 19lb 4 pintle injectors. Ran a touch rich at idle, but after smog I just put the m30 afm back on and the richness got a little better. I'd go with some 19s out of a 4.6l ford and rebuild them, saves money.
    Jah bless! :pimp:

I don't intend to do any engine upgrades in the foreseeable future. Buying rebuilt M50 injectors would end up costing about the same. Might as well cut out the hassle of having to send them out again to have them rebuilt.

For anybody searching, here is something that would have helped me when *I* was searching.

I bought the 17.5lbs injectors from an E36 / M50 (Design II with the 4 holes), cleaned and rebuilt from lucky7autoinjectors on ebay, for $112 shipped, which ended up being about $10+ cheaper than buying 14lbs injectors from a used car and having them cleaned and rebuilt. The car seems to run fine. I only have a K&N filter, no other air intake upgrades. It smoothed out my idle a bit and seems to have brought back quite a bit of power. I won't know how it'll do with smog until November or so.
