I'm 18 and I would kill a man if he touched my E30 in an un-loving way. I told my girlfriend I love my car just as much as I love her and she got mad at me.

My teenage daughter (ask for pics and I'll break your legs) is terribly embarrassed to ride around in my E30, although not bad enough to refuse taxi service. What's funny is that my old Echo didn't bother her. Maybe if I fix the squeaks and rattles that will help. I tried to explain that the car used to be quite a status symbol for high school students, but that didn't cut any ice.
I saw this guy with a pretty much flawless, except a rather large dent in the door 88-91 brilliantrot 325i 4 door. I told him 'Sir, you have a beautiful car" and he said "yea that's what the mechanics say every time I bring it in" ...making sound like he brings it in alot.
Also there's this guy a block away from me with a 1987 325ia, that he lets sit in his driveway, I offered to buy it off him for $500, it hadn't been moved in years (Dry rotted flatish tires, been walking/driving past it for about 2 years and it hasn't moved). He told me "it has less then 60,000 original miles, I want 5 grand or more for it. i drive it every once and awhile".
