that car in the photos is a beauty, but i don't think it came from the factory like that. that early stripe set is usually associated with e21's and early e28's. that is a late model 126 spoiler that was installed on facelift cars. the early cars received a different spoiler that drooped down the edges of the deck lid similar to the six series spoiler.

by the way, i have a complete gold repo set of alpina stripes that i would lend out to someone to copy in trade for a silver stripe kit. just like the factory kit, this one is made somewhat generic so it will fit several models of alpinas. if you own a decal shop and know what you are doing, send me a pm. we can perhaps work something out.
