So what's the general consensus on this car? I've always thought the body had an "old school jdm" feel to it and if done right through color combo and some sort of stance they could be sweet little rides. What should one look for when buying e21's?

First and foremost, avoid major rust. They kind of get it everywhere... the most desiriable cars brought to the US officially are the 320i sport models, which are typically red, black, or white, and came with a very low front spoiler by bbs (usually missing by now), an LSD, Recaro's, sport steering wheel, and a slightly different suspension sitting on 13 inch weaves.
