    Thule fairing ?

Looked around a bit, but couldn't find anything regarding the "rule of thumb" fairing lengths being used. What size are you finding works and looks the best ?

Are you talking about the newer model, or the older one?

the older models did not come in many sizes, I think about 2. And they are getting very rare now adays. Finding one in good shape, with all the parts is even harder.

      Modern ones come in 3 diffrent sizes. 870xt 871xt 872 xt 873xt

not dead sure on what the sizes actually are, but roughly there are 36/40/44/48 inches.

I believe that the 872xt is the best fitment.

here is my thread on roof racks.

^^ Thanks for the roof rack thread. I was wondering about the different sizes on the Thule 555.

what I know some people have done is jsut produced their own fairing. they jsut got the thule brackets and then got a pieve of lexan or poly carb.
