    DTM Fiber Werkz Fitment?

Well I have been in search of an e30 for a while now and I found the right project one now so I will probably pounce on it.

but i was just wondering about DTMFiberWerkz.com and there fitment
i see that they sell mtech II bumpers and sideskirts on there and i was just wondering if it all fit well at all?

    Thanks in advance

    -professional installation recommended-

Any product that has that phrase is going to require some serious custom work.

They come with no brackets, etc. If you have to ask it might be over your head.

What Luke said. I've never purchased anything from them but I know I have read threads where people were unhappy with fitment. But who knows, maybe they've fixed their stuff around. I would do a search.

almost ALL fiberglass body stuff will require you to make brackets unless noted. if you are looking for bolt on you are going to have to get actual m-tech, zender, racing dynamics, etc.

if you are willing to figure out how to attach the fiberglass, you are going to want to look at the thickness and durability of the pieces along how smooth the pieces are (not wavey).

i have fit A LOT of fiberglass body kits on different cars. NONE OF THEM bolt on with out at least a little bit of fitting. that is just the way it is, no matter WHOM you buy it from.

i remember putting several Veilside kits on Superas and REMOVING the hokey assed brackets they had and making my own. for the $ those kits cost, they should jump on the car themselves and be self painting! that is just the nature of fiberglass.

i have never bought any of Ary's products, but i AM going to buy on of his fiberglass trunks from him and probably a fiberglass sunroof panel too. am i expecting to do a little work to them to get them to fit, YES, within reason. i just know that is how it is, (most of the time, even steel parts need a little here and there to be perfect). how many of the theread crappers in the thread have ACTUALLY BOUGHT any products from them?

ah, but there was one - fillip (eurostyle). his mtech replicas were pretty amazing. his mtech2 rear valance just snapped into place. his reiger replicas were better than the real thing.. but he doesn't make E30 stuff anymore. :(
