h0lmes, what rear window thing are you using, if youre still wondering what to use, vw rabbit pickup fits way too perfectly, almost like it was supposed to be done

I'm not one with the experience in the snow to talk about this, but to me it would seem that a rear wheel drive car ( especially without traction control ) would need a really good driver behind the wheel to make up for it's disadvantages from FWD/AWD on the snow

It really does quite well in the snow and ice. We drove it over the mountain pass between here and Jordan's house, the roads were solid ice, and drive has got more curves than a supermodel. Not a single slip, doing 45-55 most of the way. The only time it ever slides in town when there's snow / ice is when you are taking off from a stop, and that's only if you give it too much gas. Studded tires, a 75 lb. sandbag in the trunk, and common sense is alll you need.

I'm hoping a m3 wasn't hurt in the making of that.

Appears to be one to me. Those look like 15" weaves, so that may mean there's a 5 lug hub hiding under there. Either that, or, since it's in Europe, those are Euro weaves, and they fitted the wider fenders to balance out the huge flares on the rear, and added the M3 bumper to match up to the fenders.

I think it's pretty bitchin looking, myself, although you definitely don't get the same impression from looking at the front and rear.

upon closer inspection it doesn look like a p-shop, it came from m3bmw.com. I thought whoever ran that site would know enoough to not put a fake photo up.

Seriously though, I was hoping it just maybe had a few things off of a wrecked M3, not was destroyed to create the longbed truck. Ohwells.

we havent got that far yet. were in the process of swapping out the front shocks and then we will probably move on to cutting the back portion of the car off. i will definately look into using the rear window from a vw rabbit. thanks.

That "n" wasn't supposed to be there at the end of "does". I was agreeing that it looks fake.
