Its called understeer..either bump up your front tire pressure or unwind then wind the wheel a little bit and don't floor the gas like crazy. Different situations cause understeer even on cars with tweaked suspensions...its your duty as the driver to prevent it prevailing when it does occur  If you were to play around more, you'll eventually figure out how to get rid of it. The easiest is to simply ease off the gas. in your case you can pop the clutch too and watch the car start to rotate again 8)
thanks for the info, i'll try it next time i'm playing around. I really like trying to learn the limits of my car so if i ever get into a real situation i will have some experience in what to do. Could i also be getting lots of understeer from having shitty no-name tires on front?

Listen guys, you CAN'T do donuts, or at least REAL donuts, with an open diff. You NEED LSD.

Untrue. We did em in a 240sx with an open-diff. You just need to know how to pitch the car.

We did a smoke fest in my 318 on the way to the shop to put fresh tires on.

          Pics:

You'll notice that these arn't really donuts. Just drifts in a LARGE diameter circle, lol.

          FInd the 318!

          Not too shabby for a 210K M42 with a 3.73 and 4 tires in the car. 8)
