a stupid question.. have a quick answer?

I know this is a very dumb question, but how do i use the "anti-squeal" grease/ lube/ whatever it is???

I never used it when i replaced the pads and rotors, but now they squeal when coming to a stop... and its getting annoying.

do i just squirt a small amount on each side of each rotor or what?

Thanks. and sorry for being a tard.

the stuff youre talking about goes on the back of the pads, not on the friction surface.

Did you break in your pads?

backs of pads and the sliding surfaces on the caliper--on the carrier, the machined surfaces that the caliper touches.

If you don't break them in they tend to squeak...

roast those suckers before you bother with the anti squeal. When your wheels are on fire carefully release the brake and drive for 2 minutes without slowing down for anyone.

Not really sure where I could go 60 mph to 10 mph using hard braking 8 fucking times without getting pulled over by a cop.

yeah, it sounds like fun... i may have to wait until the roads dry up some and the traffic is non existent. (early morning)

use small abandoned roads. you can hit the gas to get to 60 and then hit the brakes all within a matter of seconds.

bedding in the brakes is very important and you can do it any time. if you have driven 10k miles without doing it, you can still do it. and if you notice the blue coating of brake pad material wearing off the rotor, you can rebed your pads. normal driving will remove it over time and heaving driving will sustain it.
