i definately get on the gas early and the brakes late.... but ill make a point this weekend to go get them toasty.

so i just cruise for a while after doing this? like highway speed, or 20-30mph speed?

You have two feet, what I mean is that isn't the only way to get your brakes hot. Cruising at 60 just put your left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas and even it out so you're not slowing down but your brakes are dragging. There was a thread a long time ago on unofficialbmw.com about bedding in pads and rotors on an e28 and that
was the mothod suggested.

The above method works great.
A word of warning, you really don't want to over do-it, you might "glaze" your pads...
