It's totally possible without lowering, u just have to be patient and be good at using your finger tips.Comment

Yeah, ask Ted about using his finger-tips. Those 11mm box wrenches usually aren't too long haha.Originally posted by boom-monkeyIt's totally possible without lowering, u just have to be patient and be good at using your finger tips.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

How do the back seats fit? Why did you do this? You didn't cut out the metal back of the seats so you have fold-downs now, did you? What about the seat belt recepticals in the wrong spots?Comment

the first two brake lines are CAKE... did them in like 20 minutes
the first of the rear brake lines are CAKE... did those in like 20 minutes
the second part of the rear brake line assembly is a COMPLETE AND TOTAL BITCH! they are in the most bastardly place up behind the rear subframe, you're only leaning on them with an 11mm wrench, and i have big hands in a small space. about 2.5 hours and much bloody knuckling later, jordan and i finally got them out... they just needed Jordans e30 touch to get them loose... but putting them back on is simple, just breaking that one end loose... if i was going to do it again i'd castrol superclean the whoe area around the subframe and diff....PNW Crew

The width of the e36 rear seat is identical to that of the e30 one. I did it because I was able to pick up the front and rear seats for $100. I really wanted the front seats, but I though that they black cloth fronts would look funny with a tan vinyl rear. The rear seat bottom fits perfectly and looks awesome because it has a lip that hangs down in the front. I didn't cut the metal out of the back to make it a fold down. There really isn't any want to make them funcitonal that way. The seat back is about 3" taller than the e30 one, and unless you fabricate something crazy to hold the seats to make them fold down you can't really do it. Also, you can't use the middle seat belts (the e36 ones built into the seats) because there isn't enough structural support holding them. I simply screwed in from the back of the trunk into the rear of the seats to hold them (read: short screws + dense foam = no way of ever hitting the screws. I plan on fabricating a custom rear deck this Summer (or spring maybe) to finish up the rear install as the rear seat backs now sit about 2-3" above the rear deck now. I think the e36 rear is much more comfortable than any e30 rear too.Originally posted by DigitalwaveOriginally posted by kencopperwheatMy car has e36 seats.Originally posted by Kruzenwhat kind of car were the pics taken inside of, that backseat looks, differe.t
