    Will this work?

    I have an 87 325is.5speed

I am bringing it to the mechanic tonight.

Will this transmission work in my car?

It does not include shift linkage.

Hate me for just asking, call me a noob, do what you will. Just I would be so grateful If I just got an honest answer.

Yes I searched, yes i am almost 99% positive that it will work, I just need my fears put to rest.

Ya i read that article last night. I spent about 3 hours just reading about these transmissions.

Im just at my wits end. I just had to replace the radiator in my parents blazer.

And I mean jsut replaced. Found out at 5:30, pulled it, went and picked one up at 6:30, had it running at 7:30..... god I hate chevys

If it's out of a 525i, it's for a late model M20B25, which doesn't have sensor holes in the bellhousing.

Check if your trans has two sensors in the bellhousing. I don't remember if the 153 ecu (which you have) uses those or a single crank sensor up front.
