My dad used to use it on his M5. He put some scratches on his car from it. It could of been from that he isn't very good at cleaning his car though. I wouldn't use it.

Leafblower or regular towels do the best job, but I've never tried the absorber.

I own both and they work great, the water blade AND the absorber cut drying time in a fraction of the time. Many people on this forum have seen my E30s and can vouch for the fact that the paint on both is pretty decent if not great. I stand by them al the way, and Im VERY anal about ANYTHING dragging across my paint, but hell if it doesnt work.

Microfiber is also the only cloth that touches my car. That shit is awesome, I use that to apply the Meguiars Quik Detailer. The Car duster extends the time that your car is clean by a lot, since most of the time its only dust that makes your car dirty if you wash it once a week (as I do). If youre in a rush or have to clean your car up without the fuss, you can dust it with the car duster, and do the Quik Detailer. Looks like you just washed it and in less than half the time if youre in a pinch.

Dunno, I have 2 Waffle Weaves, and i use one to get the mjority of water soaked up, then the 2nd to dry it off completly. Works pretty damn well.

I typically like to search out the pair of underwear with the most "skid-marks" and wipe that around on my paint after a good wash of the car.

Who knows if it gets the car dry or not , what I like is the expressions from my neighbor and passers by.
                :D
Oh , yeah you have to use the skid mark side out for the best effect.

Try it and you will be amazed.

I love the duster/ quick detailer combo. Awesome.

As for drying, get the Mr. Clean Autodry, I mainly only use it for the spot free rinse, which is really SPOT FREE! If my car is clean, and i wash my car once a week, then ill hose it, shoot it with soap, hit below the mouldings with a mit, then rinse and spot free the car. If you only get the Mr. Clean for the drying, its WORTH IT!

I've been happy with the Mr-clean also, Mainly becuase we have Well watter and it would leave water spots no matter How I dryed the car, the filter in the Mr Clean was completly Brown within 6 washes. My paint is no where near perfect so it does just fine.

Damn. I always doubted the spot free thing because I cant imagine spot free drying from water. Its ju8st hard to comprehend. But if it works, sounds good. It just seemed too good to be true, haha.

It's spot free because your spraying your car with filtered water, theres no dirt in the water to leave spots.Spray your car with a brita and achieve the same effect :P

yeah, it filters out all of the impurities in the water such as calcium - which is why you get the white water spots on your car. when the water evaoprates it leaves behind the minerals

it's still not a good idea to dry your car in the sun, the water spots can act like magnifying lenses that can fade your paint (especially on brighter colors, like red).

besides, I wax my car everytime I wash it, you can't realy do that with water all over it. I've used leather chamois for the last 3 years, but I got an Absorber for this year because the leather ones tend to dry out or mold.
