    yeah, the 13b is really 2.6L. even though its "technically" classed as 1.3L, its just not true. it fires on every stroke.

    but sure, mazda has been doing over 100hp per liter since the 70s. lol.

    Even then I think the ferrari f355 beat it by a couple years, and the McLaren f1 did it back in 92 with the bmw m70 engine. (If you consider it a production car...)

    Because this is an e30 forum I'll point out that the e30 m3 evo sport made 94hp/liter in 1990.

    Oh yeah and Mazda rotary motors have made over 100hp/liter since the 70s but some will argue the 13b is 2.6 liters not 1.3
    Yeah forgot to add that part, first n/a motor. I'm not too sure, but i believe it was back in the mid 80's when they made the first b16. Don't quote me on that

    I raced my ex in her Integra GSR B18c or whatever(manual 5sp) in my old 325e( chip, muffler)...i got her off the line, but once she hit vtak she murderd my ass.

    i learned my lesson.
