Would vaderd increase the value of my s50 car?

We're putting together an s50 e30 to sell when complete. Should only be another week and a half or so. Nice rust free chassis

my question: the car needs seats, current seats suck. Sport seats seem to be ~$300, factoring shipping. I have a set of vaders I've been selling, looking for 625.

if I just put them in my e30 could I get a worthwhile price increase

I think that it would help, but would not get you the $625 more for the whole car. Vaders are heavy as fuck and if someone buys an S50 car, they are most likely going to take those seats out for some race ones anyways. What you should do is maybe get a decent used race type seat and put that on the driver's side only, and just sell your vaders separately like you were planning.

donno if thats necessarily true, what if theyre buying it as a street car, only fuhraze puts race seats in a street car. Then again dont know if theyd add a bunch of value to the car.
but i say you get on board to buy some brackets anyway.

I would say you're probably better off selling the vaders separately. People will try to chew your sale price down on the car anyway...

How long have you been trying to sell the vaders for?

i listed them a while ago and had interest, but moved before they were sold and didn't come back to get them until more recently

              I agree with OOMPH!

People aren't willing to pay too much for mods these days. If you want to try to turn a profit on an S50 car, ensure it is as close to stock as possible.

only thing is, it's got beat cloth non-sport seats.

only reason I would include the vaders is if i were to buy sport seats alternately. as sport seats will be ~$300, and i'd probably take 600 or 500 for my vaders

what would people pay for a good running s50 car with a rust free chassis but non sport beat cloth interior, completely stock other than motor? 5k? 5500? I mean people pay $700 for a header that adds 4hp, s50 is a 70hp upgrade from an m20b25 lol

Yeah, if you just dropped an engine into that car, it's definitely worth 5-5500 with cloth seats, and a reasonably clean interior, assuming the important maintenance has been done on the S50. Also price will have a little +/- depending on what transmission and diff you have.

If you're swapping that white 4dr, it looks like it has a lot of potential!

yeah, the chassis is spotless. nice to have southern cars (just moved to VA from living in Buffalo, NY for 24 years). cloth seats are torn up though. zf trans, 2.93 lsd. might include a set of 17" kopis (my business partner has them on his s50e30 and is looking for a change).

No one on this site buys $700 headers.

I was offered $350 shipped, for my TMS shorty headers with custom 2 to 1 downpipe that terminated in a V-band. That's close to a $1300 setup.

my headers were $800 with coating, before I even touched the rest of the exhaust. :(

most people will opt for $100 ebay cheapies, which offer no performance advantage except maybe weight loss. But hey, they look cool! for a week..
