damn, that's ridiculous! we had a huge freak hailstorm here about 6 months ago, and I got about 15 hits from that, but none were nearly that deep.

I have read somewhere that dry ice removes a hail storm dent. Anyone else heard this before? Does your insurance pick that up?

actually earlier this year we had small pebble sized hail come down for awhile at my house in south OC. my car was in the garage luckily. get some PDR done, though it might be costly. i dont think dry ice would work, ive worked with many professional PDR guys, and that was not any one of their techniques for hail.

when i lived in oklahoma we got lots of hail, one time giant piles of snow fell 2 stories from our garage onto the hoods of 3 of our cars...

Proof yet again that Melbourne sucks. Sydney was fine and dry all weekend, BTW. Good beer-drinking weather. ;)

PS: sorry to see your car got damaged. Looks far enough in that it can be rolled out. Bet they were a tense few minutes while you waited to get outside and survey the damage?

I hope everything was fine after the storm, let us know
Nice thought Vlad, but here we don't part cars out over a little dent, but there are plenty of Aust/Euro bumpers lying around and they are all ours.
